Apple Hill Bungalow, Family and PET Friendly!

Great for multiple nights

Overall the place was cute and cozy perfect bungalow a place we hope to visit again. They really were accommodating when Positive: It was peaceful waking up to the birds and quiet neighborhood. The rocking chairs on the front porch and outdoor seating on the deck were comfortable and relaxing, perfect place to have your morning quiet time with a cup of coffee. It was located close to heart of Bristol making it easy to sight see and find places to shop/eat. There was a basketball court close by which was great for the family and games in the cupboard which was a nice touch. The landscape was gorgeous and Bristol is such a beautiful town makes you want to move there! Negative: There were a few issues not the fault of the owner but were inconveniences for our stay. The fridge was broken when we first got there however we contacted the owner right away and they were able to get a new fridge out quickly and discounted our stay for the inconvenience. It’s supposed to be a nonsmoking place but the sheets and comforter closest to the front porch window had a light smell like cigarettes smoke that was faded. Nothing overbearing but more inconvenient to have to smell it which is not the owners fault but a previous tenant that did not respect the rules. There was an old ash tray there as well so not sure if that was left over from a previous tenant but we just left it be. The dryer took a very long time to dry clothes almost two cycles which wasn’t a big deal since we only had a few loads, it was convenient to be able to wash stuff and they had laundry detergent available so we were grateful. The couch in the living room was cute in aesthetic look but pretty uncomfortable to watch a movie on, we did appreciate the tv and having access to apps so we could stream some tv shows. The kitchen was stocked with spices and it was clean and had an open concept which was great for the small space.

Positive: It was conveniently located and adorable. Negative: Easier access to back yard. It was quite hilly and slick and I fell walking the dog.

Fun Positive: It was very homey and peaceful Negative: Nothing

I would stay there again for sure Positive: I liked the cozy feeling of the cottage. They truly thought of everything. It was easy to get in and we found everything we needed. Negative: It was a bit far from work for me but it was close to all things downtown.
